Wedding package
Wedding packages can be a good solution for those who want to keep things simple
We will provide flowers which represent the very best of the season, taking account of your preference as to colour scheme (pastel, bright, muted, pinks, blues, etc) and style of bouquet (round, posy, asymmetrical, etc). Flowers will be available for you to collect at a time to suit from Soulbury, near Leighton Buzzard
To illustrate, a bridal bouquet, 2 bridesmaids’ bouquets, 6 boutonnieres and two mixed buckets of flowers (enough for 6 large jam jars) is priced at £490
DIY wedding flowers
DIY wedding flowers can be a lovely way to involve friends and family in your special day
We are happy to discuss your colour scheme, explore your requirements and advise on availability of flowers and quantities you’ll need. Mixed buckets are priced from £45 (shorter stems suitable for jam jars) to £60 (premium and taller blooms)
If required, we can also offer workshops to support you in achieving a professional result - how to translate your vision into flower and foliage types and quantities, how to grow your own flowers, how to rig mechanics for flower arrangements and installations, how to tie bridal bouquets and make boutonnieres and flower crowns
A workshop covering any of the above components can be scheduled to make a fun and practical contribution to a ‘Hen weekend’ celebration
Full floristry service
A full floristry service promises a beautiful, professional outcome with minimal effort from the bridal party!
We will be delighted to invite you to visit Close Cottage for a tour of the garden and flower farm - ideally a year before your wedding, so you can see what’s likely to be available and take inspiration from what the season has to offer - blossom in the Spring, seedheads in the Autumn, and everything in between
We will explore your vision - vibe, style, colour scheme - and requirements for the bridal party, church and/or venue and translate this into a set of arrangements, individually priced
As a guide, bridal bouquet £190, bridesmaid’s bouquet £80, large floor standing vase or urn £400, arch over church door £800, round table centre from £120, broken arch flanking an entrance £1500
The proposal is subject to a 20% service charge and covers the cost of all flowers and foliage, materials, delivery, travel and labour. A consultation fee of £150 (offset against the eventual cost of your wedding flowers) is payable and a deposit of 30% is required to reserve the date
Managed service
For those with a vision of extravagant wedding flowers - but working to a limited budget - a mixed approach offers the ‘best of all worlds’
We can provide a ‘managed service’, encompassing the bespoke, professional planning and practical support to assure a high quality outcome, whilst friends and family enjoy making a contribution to the big event by cutting home grown foliage and flowers and arranging flowers in church or at the venue
Price is dependent on scale of flower stems required, flower arrangements to be delivered and time required. However, as a guide, the cost of this approach is approx. 50-60% of the equivalent full floristry service to achieve a similar outcome
Pricing is fully transparent, enabling you to dial up or down to meet your budget - flowers and foliage purchased or home grown, time invested in preparation, cutting and conditioning flowers and foliage, arranging and clearing up!
